Hanishi is the founder and principal attorney of Mithras Global. Hanishi is a qualified attorney in the United States. She has also been admitted as a registered solicitor in England and Wales, and Scotland. Hanishi’s areas of practice involve international business law and immigration law. Hanishi provides comprehensive business and immigration advice and counsel to U.S. and foreign clients, including small and medium sized business owners, foreign entrepreneurs, and individuals. Hanishi understands and pursues individualized solutions to suit each client’s needs. Hanishi has authored several articles in the areas of immigration law and international law and is frequently invited to speak.
Hanishi’s work experience includes working in-house at Lexis-Nexis and for leading UK law firms, Steedman Ramage and Brodies in the areas of transactional corporate, business, and commercial law. Hanishi has also tutored Taxation and Social Security to the law students at the University of Edinburgh, UK, and had the opportunity to represent the International Commission of Jurists at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
Hanishi is also passionate about giving back and is actively involved in community issues and with several non-profit organizations. Hanishi has received a Citation from the President of the Massachusetts Senate and a Citation on behalf of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for public service and civic leadership.
Hanishi is appointed by Governor Deval Patrick and currenMtly serves on the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women. Hanishi is a past recipient of the Worcester Business Journal's Women in Business Award.
Hanishi graduated from the University of Edinburgh, UK, with a LLB and with a post-graduate law degree. Hanishi also graduated with a B.A. (Hons) with a dual concentration in Economics Management and Journalism from Ohio Wesleyan University, USA, with a Departmental Honors.
